Last year around Thanksgiving, TweetsGiving raised $10,000 in 48 hours on Twitter. The funds raised built a classroom in a school in Tanzania. Pretty cool, right?
This year the fundraising is being done in a more traditional way. On November 24, 2009 people passionate about impacting the lives of others will be gathering at Plaza Bowl in Richmond for a little gratitude Southern style. We Can Share is happy to announce that we have received the support of Brick House Diner in Midlothian, Virginia and Affinion Loyalty Group of Richmond, Virginia for our 2009 Share the Warmth Drive.
Share the Warmth

Our 2009 Share the Warmth campaign will begin on December 1, 2009 and will end on December 20, 2009. Our goal is simple: Collect as many gently used or new blankets, winter caps and gloves as possible for distribution to those in need in the Richmond, Virginia area.
We are seeking partners willing to allow posters and bins to be displayed for collection of these items. Representatives of We Can Share will pick up, launder and distribute all items.
